Switzerland Keeping the Secrets of Alleged Tax Evaders KEN STIER Time Magazine Sunday, March 7, 2010 Comment: Authoritarian rag Time Magazine viciously attacks cherished Swiss banking privacy by smearing it as the domain of ruthless dictators – another helpful dose of propaganda graciously appreciated by the IRS, the collection agency for the private, run for profit, Federal Reserve. Pick a dictator, almost any dictator – Cuba’s Fulgencio Batista, the Philippines’ Ferdinand Marcos, Haiti’s Papa and Baby Doc Duvalier, the Shah of Iran, Central African Republic Emperor Jean-BÉdel Bokassa – and they all have this in common: they allegedly stashed their loot in secret, numbered accounts in Swiss banks, safely guarded by the so-called Gnomes of Zurich
China Ready to End Dollar Peg
Garry White London Telegraph Sunday, March 7, 2010 The head of China’s central bank has given the strongest signal yet that the country will move away from pegging its currency to the dollar, but he said any changes would be gradual. At the annual session of the legislative National People’s Congress in Beijing, Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People’s Bank of China, said that the days of the “special yuan” policy were numbered.

Obama Rejects Criticism of His Agenda as Socialism
Reuters Thursday, February 25th, 2010 President Barack Obama launched a vigorous defense of his economic agenda Wednesday, rejecting critics who call his policies “socialism” and insisting he aims to boost U.S. competitiveness abroad. Speaking to the Business Roundtable, which groups some of the country’s top chief executives, Obama called for support of his administration’s efforts to overhaul financial regulation and create jobs.
